Sustainability

Conscious of our environmental impact, CDL is committed to disposing of your IT equipment by sustainable and ecological means.

Our sustainability promise

sectors image
The UK produces an estimated two million tonnes of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) annually, with only 15-20% recycled. At CDL, we aim to reduce the amount of electronic waste sent to landfill, offsetting its potential to cause environmental harm.

Limited Landfill

The WEEE Directive reduces the amount of electronic waste disposed of via landfill or incineration, limiting pollution.

Reduction in Waste

Recycling electronic waste ensures that heavy metals found in waste don’t pollute the air, ground and surface water.

Sustainable Manufacturing

Recycling electronic waste limits requirements for further manufacturing, curbing emissions, conserving natural resources, and preventing greenhouse gas emissions.
