In fact, we are celebrating twice, having won our category (The Astmoor Business Improvement District Business Award) in addition to the highly coveted Halton Business of the Year Award.
Paula Cain, chief executive of Halton Chamber of Commerce said:
“The awards recognise and reward excellent performance, good business practices and the successes of Halton businesses. The awards are open to all Halton businesses and the range of categories is wide”.
Now in their tenth year, the Halton Business Awards were held for the first time at The Select Stadium in Widnes and the ceremony was attended by almost 50 companies and over 300 guests.
Winning Business of the Year is a fantastic accolade for CDL, who started life in 1999 from humble beginnings, and recorded 20 per cent growth last year, now employing 70 staff at a purpose-built site on Davy Road in Runcorn.
Owner Jean Pierre Naylor was there on the night to collect the Award on behalf of the company and said:
“This award makes me proud of our staff who have worked very hard. It is absolutely fantastic. Not only have we met our objectives and targets, we have exceeded them. We hope to increase production by another third. Seventy per cent of everything we take we re-use and re-market, often to Pakistan or Dubai. We offer a free collection service for any major UK charity and we work with clients who want to donate equipment to charity.”
Congratulation to all at CDL and here’s to another 12 months of growth, development, determination and success!
